COMMUNITY DESKTOP FOR WINDOWS
DeepSeek Harness Desktop
A focused Windows desktop entry point that brings the local Host, runtime, and app lifecycle together while preserving the real DSH experience.
v0.1.0-preview.1 · Windows 10 / 11 x64 · Community-maintained, unofficial
THE REAL DSH EXPERIENCE
Not another interface.
The DSH you know.
The desktop shell loads a local DSH Host through the system WebView2. It does not rebuild the chat or Agent core, so the workspace remains familiar.
- Starts the Host on a loopback address
- Renders the interface with system WebView2
- Owns only lifecycle and distribution concerns
Local runtime foundation verified
SIMPLE BY DESIGN
A lightweight shell with a clear boundary
The first preview focuses on Windows packaging, a self-contained runtime, and reliable lifecycle management without expanding DSH's core feature set.
- 01
Start
Launch DSH Web on a random loopback port without exposing a public service.
- 02
Render
Load the real DSH page through WebView2 and preserve its existing interactions.
- 03
Manage
The preview plans to unify single-instance behavior, tray controls, logs, and process cleanup.
